I had an interesting experience recently when I visited a cafe with a close friend for the first time since the Covid-19 lockdown began and I become ill with that virus.

Until we awaken from our sleepwalking slumber party – the experience of life for many – we usually either indulge our judgements of other people as being right or wrong, good or bad (for example, acting them out through road rage and domestic violence), suppress them, or attempt to change and get rid of them.
All negative emotions arise from a prior thought whose origins lay somewhere back in our past. But trying to "think our way out" of these powerful emotions never works. So instead of thinking, one of the most effective, albeit paradoxical, ways to release these feelings is to feel the feelings fully and completely.
